About Solar Integrated and BIPV

Solar Integrated is a pioneer and market leader in the commercial solar industry. We design, manufacture, market, install and maintain "building integrated photovoltaic" (BIPV) roofing systems and related applications for large-scale production of solar electric power. Solar Integrated has developed a proprietary process to laminate thin-film, amorphous, photovoltaic cells to heavy-duty fabrics. The result is a fused fabric and solar panel product that is applicable to virtually any flat surface.

In addition to roofing solutions, Solar Integrated provides a wide range of solar tents, shade structures and other portable systems based on unique applications of our proprietary BIPV technology. The company leverages over eighty years of proven construction and project management experience to offer affordable and innovative energy efficient roofs and BIPV products.

Energy-Efficient and BIPV Roofing Products

BIPV Solar Electric Roofing for Sustainable Buildings

Solar Integrated building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) solar electric roofing system enables efficient, sustainable building design, as well as over 80 years of industrial and commercial roofing experience.

Energy-Efficient Roofing Products (non-PV)

For over eighty years Solar Integrated has been installing high quality industrial and commercial roofing and roof replacement products.

We start with the existing roof top surface and add a lightweight rigid insulation that provides excellent R-value, and gypsum board that acts as a fire barrier and provides resistance against punctures. The roof is topped with a durable white single-ply roofing membrane.

These three components provide customers with an energy efficient, weather-tight roof and efficient building design that significantly improves the thermal performance of the roof top, and is known in the industry as a “Cool Roof”.

Wiring is run to prep the roof for the integrated BIPV solar roofing panel that can be added immediately or in the future depending on the customer’s preference.

Portable Solar Solutions

Solar Integrated is pleased to offer its Solar Tent product line that not only provides much needed shelter but also produces up to 6 kW of power producing up to 30 kWh per day of reliable power.

These solar tents, which come in two standard sizes, 20 x 40 or 40 x 60, are ideally suited to disaster recovery missions, military applications, emergency medial care, computer post, or other applications where secure power and shelter are needed but not readily available.

The Solar Tent supplies electric power to remote locations as a complement or alternative to diesel generator power. The tents are supported by a lightweight aluminum frame structure, designed for interlocking multiple sections together to extend square footage if a larger area is required.

Renewable Energy Management (REM) System

Don’t lose another wink over future utility bills, predict and manage your energy requirements with REM.

Solar Integrated is proud to offer our REM system, the latest innovation in energy management, with comprehensive data collection and analysis tools to enable customers to proactively predict and dramatically reduce energy costs.

The REM product line collects, analyzes, and applies data related to electric, photovoltaic, gas and water usage in order to increase energy efficiency and reduce costs. Solar Integrated’s REM product line gives governments, institutions and companies the ability to manage and control energy costs efficiently and economically, while measuring the reduction of specified greenhouse gases (GHG).
