Ceramic Fuel Cells Secures Volume Order And A Foothold In The Attractive Japanese Market

The fuel cell sector on Aim is out of fashion. Fuel cell technology offers huge potential but so far revenues have not been forthcoming. But maybe it’s time to revisit the sector, as many fuel cell companies are quietly making progress.

In January British utility Centrica took a stake in Ceres Power and gave it a forward volume order. A month later Australia-based Ceramic Fuel Cells secured its first volume order with Holland’s Nuon. And on 9th May, Ceramic Fuel Cells placed 35 million shares at 20p, albeit at an 11 per cent discount, raising gross proceeds of £7 million for use as working...
