Impax Environmental Investment Trust Targets Wind, Solar And Waste For Future Growth

Impax Asset Management specialises in environmental investing. It’s been making money in the sector for 14 years – much longer than the majority of fund managers that have recently jumped on the climate change bandwagon. Consequently it’s rather good at it.

As an established boutique investment house, Impax Asset Management launched its flagship Impax Environmental Markets investment trust in 2002. The trust currently holds over £420 million in around 80 stocks operating in three sectors, as defined by Impax – renewable energy and energy efficiency, water treatment and pollution control, and waste technology and resource management.
