Novera And Renewable Energy Generation Look To Build Wind Capacity As The Operating Environment Slowly Improves

Investors in the UK are distinctly under served when it comes to investment opportunities in pure-play renewable power generators. Much of the UK's renewables capacity is folded into larger diversified power or energy companies, where the greener investor would baulk at some of the carbon emitting practices that go on alongside the renewables activity.

But conditions for renewables operators are improving all the time in terms of power purchase prices and the possibility that planning guidelines may be relaxed to help the government meet its increasingly ambitious renewables output targets. These factors should make the likes of Novera Energy and Renewable Energy Generation (REG) - both listed on Aim - increasingly attractive to UK investors.
