Sales Of Zenergy Power's HTS Induction Heaters Start To Build

Aim-traded Zenergy Power is beginning to gain traction as its order book grows. The company specialises in the development and manufacture of commercial applications for high-temperature superconductive (HTS) materials. Recently it’s shown good progress. In July it installed the world’s first commercial full scale HTS induction heater in aluminium processing company Weseralu’s manufacturing facility in Minden, Germany. Zenergy’s HTS induction heater greatly reduces the level of electrical energy consumed during industrial processes, and operates with efficiency levels of over 90 per cent. That compares nicely to conventional induction heaters which operate at efficiency levels of between 35 and 45 per cent. The Weseralu induction heater will act as a showcase, and potential customers will be able to visit it. In fact Zenergy is arranging for attendees at an aluminium conference due to be held in Germany in September to visit the Weseralu facility to see the heater in action.

Zenergy took a second order for an HTS induction heater in March and plans to deliver it in the second quarter of 2009. The client is a major supplier of copper and copper alloy materials to the automotive, building, electrical and refrigeration industries. Zenergy is also in conversations with around 30 other potential customers, and in anticipation Zenergy intends to extend its German manufacturing facility to provide enough capacity for the coming years - it expects to be able to manufacture...
