Company Statement

Romag is a leading UK manufacturer of specialist transparent composites. By combining high quality float and tempered glass with modern plastics technology, we produce a range of long-lasting, high performance laminates.

Key areas of activity are the supply of glass and glazing products to the architectural, safety/security and transportation markets.

Romag's flexible, customer-driven service is highlighted by our commitment to develop bespoke glass solutions to individual design criteria.

To ensure on-going customer satisfaction, Romag adopts a versatile and innovative approach to product development, resulting in leading-edge application of glass and glazing technology.

Romag are also active in the transport sector, for which a number of different glass-based products are provided.

For example, double-glazed units for rolling stock carriages, curved and flat windscreens for rail and road vehicles, and security glazing solutions for cash and bullion transportation vehicles.

PowerGlaz is Building Integrated Photovoltaics designed for use on glazed facades and glass roofs. Developed from space age technology, PowerGlaz (Building Integrated Power Glass) converts daylight into electricity.  Because there are no moving parts it has a long life expectancy and perhaps more importantly, it does not produce CO2 emissions. Romag's 6MWp Photovoltaic (PV) laminating line is the first automated PV line in the UK and is the largest in Europe.
